Privacy and data use
Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Jennifer Neeley collects through this website, why it is used and the choices available to you.
The aim is straightforward: collect only what supports a useful website, a requested response or a service you choose to use. Submitting an inquiry does not add you to a marketing list unless you separately select the optional newsletter choice.
Information collected
Information you provide
When you use a contact form, diagnostic or other interactive feature, you may provide information such as your name, email address, company or organization, reason for reaching out, message, form responses, diagnostic results and an optional newsletter preference.
If you communicate by email or schedule a conversation, the information you choose to share may also be retained as part of that correspondence or business relationship.
Website and device information
This site uses Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to understand traffic and website use. Depending on your browser and privacy settings, these services may collect a first-party identifier, approximate location, browser and device information, session statistics and interactions with pages or links.
The website host may also process routine technical logs needed for security, reliability and troubleshooting. The site does not intentionally retain IP addresses with ordinary form entries.
How information is used
Information may be used to:
- respond to an inquiry or provide a result you requested;
- evaluate the fit and appropriate next step for advisory, speaking, teaching, media or collaboration work;
- operate, secure and improve the website;
- understand which pages and resources are useful;
- send articles, updates or occasional invitations when you separately choose to receive them;
- maintain business records and meet applicable legal obligations.
Contact or diagnostic information is not used to subscribe you to a newsletter or promotional email sequence unless you affirmatively select a separate, optional newsletter checkbox. The checkbox is not selected by default, and you may withdraw that choice at any time.
Service providers and external sites
Jennifer Neeley and JND Global do not sell personal information for money and do not authorize service providers to sell personal information submitted through this website. Information may be processed by service providers used to operate the website and respond to requests, including WordPress and Gravity Forms, WP Engine hosting, Google measurement and scheduling services, newsletter and publication services selected by the visitor, and the email systems used to deliver form notifications and replies.
Links to Substack, social platforms, scheduling tools and other external websites take you to services governed by their own privacy policies. A link does not give those services access to information submitted through this website, although they may collect information when you visit them.
Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to protect the website, prevent abuse, comply with law or respond to a valid legal process.
Retention and security
Ordinary contact and diagnostic entries are normally retained for up to 365 days from submission, unless a longer period is reasonably needed for an active relationship, requested service, business record, security matter, dispute or legal obligation. Related email correspondence, consent records and routine backups may be retained separately under the practices of the systems that process them.
Reasonable administrative, technical and organizational measures are used to protect information. No website, email system, transmission method or storage system is immune from error, misuse or unauthorized access, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed. Jennifer Neeley and JND Global do not authorize an attacker or other unauthorized party to access, disclose, misuse or sell personal information. If a security incident requires notice under applicable law, legally required notices will be provided.
Do not submit confidential medical records, payment-card details, passwords or other highly sensitive personal information through a general website form.
Your choices
You can limit cookies through your browser settings and may use Google’s Analytics opt-out tools. Blocking measurement cookies may reduce analytics data but should not prevent you from reading the site.
You may ask what personal information is held about you, request a copy or correction, or ask that it be deleted when applicable. Requests may require reasonable identity verification before information is disclosed or changed.
Residents of California and other jurisdictions may have additional rights concerning access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, or the sale or sharing of personal information. Rights depend on the law that applies and may be subject to exceptions. You will not be discriminated against for making a valid privacy request.
Newsletter and marketing emails will include an unsubscribe method. Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent a response to an inquiry or another message needed to provide a service you requested.
This website is intended for a professional and general audience and is not directed to children.
Visitors outside the United States
This website is operated from the United States and its territories. Information submitted through the site may be transferred to, stored in or processed in the United States and in other locations where the service providers described in this policy operate. Privacy and data-protection laws may differ from those in your location.
The intention is to handle personal information in accordance with privacy laws that apply to this website and its activities. Making the website available internationally is not a representation that every feature is governed by, or satisfies, every jurisdiction’s law. Nothing in this policy is intended to waive rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
Where applicable law requires consent for nonessential cookies, analytics or electronic marketing, the relevant choice should be presented before that processing occurs. A privacy policy explains practices, but it does not replace a consent mechanism when one is legally required.
Visitors in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland and other jurisdictions with applicable privacy rights may contact the address below to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability, as applicable. Requests will be evaluated under the law that applies to the request and this website’s activities.
Policy updates
This policy may be revised as the website, services or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top will be updated when material changes are made.
