As anyone who has followed my musings – online and otherwise – can attest, I am a sucker for a good cause. Need I remind you I was a Peace Corps and AmeriCorps volunteer? Didn’t think so..

As a public relations pro now, it delights me to say I’ll be on a panel discussing what non-profits can do online to help stay afloat and, dare I say thrive, during this downright this terrible economy.

The event is called Thriving and Surviving in Uncertain Times: Digital Marketing Techniques for Non-Profits. It’s from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on February 26 at the Jewish Community Center in San Francisco.

The fee is nominal – $25 bucks – to cover the venue and materials, but the content will be out of this world. Charlene Li, Thought Leader and Founder, Altimeter Group and Co-author of Groundswell: Winning in a World Transformed by Social Technologies, as well as the formidable Susan Tenby, a Second Life and all round community expert.

We’re pleased to be teaming with colleagues from Hoffman Agency, Launchsquad, Peppercom, Xenophon Strategies and Weber Shandwick.

We need folks like YOU to sign up as soon as possible. Take a look at the full agenda. There’s a link to register online here.

And please come by and introduce yourself after the event. It’s always nice to meet good people.
