Kyle Lacy is the owner of a social media marketing and design firm, MindFrame (formerly Brandswag), and his clients have ranged from recording artist Jon McLaughlin to the Consumer Electronics Association to small businesses, with most having five or fewer employees and up to $500,000 to $25 million in revenue.
He blogs at KyleLacy.com and he communicates regularly with his Twitter followers under the name @kyleplacy. His blog has been featured on Wall Street Journal‘sWeb site and Read Write Web’s daily blog journal. He was named by Indianapolis Business Journal as one of the 40 under 40 business professionals in Indianapolis for 2010. He is the author of Twitter Marketing for Dummies, 2nd Edition.
Kyle first set up an account on Twitter in 2008 but didn’t immediately warm to using the social platform. In this show, Kyle talks about how he might be the best person to ask about how to keep business separate from personal social networks and the shift that he thinks needs to happen with businesses who want employees to keep personal separate from business. Kyle will also speak about how he become involved with the Dummies publishing community.
