The Quest To Progress: StrengthsFinder

I’ve been a bit frustrated lately. I want to make sure I’m doing all I can to progress in a positive direction — in work and in life. Who doesn’t, really? But I’m stepping up my process.   In communicating my desire to be grown and have the opportunity to “shine” at work, our HR director starting asking me if I knew anything about StrengthsFinder. Now, I love self-help as much as the next guy, but I hadn’t heard or it and was, frankly, pretty skeptical. But I had an Amazon gift certificate, so I decided to go for it…   long story short, the findings are listed below and I’m dying for feedback… both from those who know me, as well as about the accessment itself.   Do tell!

  1. Hello,
I was wondering how you got the pic of the strengths finder pencils, with your top 5. I had never seen this before until I googled Strengthsfinder and found your site. I am working with a group of women that are taking the course and would love to have one for everyone. Please let me know ASAP, I would totally appreciate it!
    Thanks and Blessings!

    1. Hi Megan,

So sorry for the delay in replying! I bought the book in the Spring of 2008 and used the site it referenced in the materials inside for the online assessment part. Did you try the URL on the graphic? I just took a screenshot of that and added it to the page. I’ve since done one thru Gallup University and the garphic is different. I was planning to post those results as well in a compare-and-contrast piece. Stay tuned!

      Cheers,
      Jennifer
