[Editor’s note: This post and podcast originally produced for Eastwick Communications here…]
Back in the days when I was a Columbia Journalism student, everyone used one exalted resource for one reason or another – mediabistro.
In a way, mediabistro’s growth (going from being a mature start up, to being purchased by a large media company) has ran parallel to those of my graduating class.
But as we’ve all gone our separate ways, mediabistro has remained a constant; from their job postings, networking events and education resources (not to mention their amazing original blog content!), mediabistro has given us plenty of fodder to keep us connected.
On our Break through the Noise podcast this week, I talk to the woman who is largely responsible for this – Carmen Scheidel, Director of Education, Events, and Multimedia Content for mediabistro.
